Middle East Payment Services Signs Cooperation Agreement with Jordan Medical Association to Launch National Wallet Solutions

Middle East Payment Services (MEPS) - a leading, innovative payment services provider in the Middle East - has signed a collaboration agreement with the Jordan Medical Association (JMA) to introduce the National Wallet for JMA members. The deal was inked on Tuesday 5 February, 2019, at the JMA headquarters - in the presence of JMA President Dr. Ali Obous and MEPS CEO Walid Al Nasser, alongside a host of executive managers from both parties.

The agreement, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, enables JMA members to create accounts on the National Wallet and issue a membership ID linked with a prepaid card, hence allowing them to conduct payments and financial transactions via their mobile devices. These include settling JMA registration fees and personal invoices, performing local and international transfers, making online and offline purchases, as well as completing cash withdrawals from automated teller machine (ATM) and point-of-sale (POS) devices.
“We are pleased to partner with the JMA to offer such a unique service for its members, emphasizing our commitment to delivering innovative and secure solutions that cater to the ever-evolving needs of customers. The advanced technologies we offer, paired with our diverse partner network and qualified expert team, further cement our standing as an industry pioneer within the local and global arenas,” stated Al Naser.

In turn, Dr. Obous commented, “Electronic payments are the future of financial dealings, which is why we encourage our members to use and take advantage of these services in order to facilitate their monetary commitments towards the JFA. We look forward to presenting additional cutting-edge services to our doctors, and are keen to establish mutual partnerships that help them remain abreast of the latest technological developments worldwide.”
