MEPS Sponsors ‘Bands Across Borders’ Concert

Stemming from its belief in the important role that music and arts play in the lives of young people, Middle East Payment Services (MEPS) – a leading, innovative payment services provider in the Middle East – has sponsored one of Jordan’s biggest musical event, ‘Bands Across Borders’. Drawing a large audience, the concert was held recently in Amman and featured the Jordanian bands, Autostrad and Qabeela, Egyptian band, Sharmoofers, in addition to the Jordanian artist, Aziz Maraka.    As part of its sponsorship, MEPS provided point-of-sale (POS) devices at the concert's venue, where attendees were able to purchase tickets at the door. Concert goers could also enjoy and pay for the services available, such as restaurants, electronically through the POS devices, with the highest levels of efficiency and flexibility.   “We are delighted to sponsor this grand musical event, which hosts young talents and the most prominent Arab brands in efforts to enrich the Kingdom’s art scene. Through this sponsorship, we aim to encourage youth to remain abreast of the latest international trends regarding safe electronic payment solutions when making their purchases. We also seek to meet their needs and requirements in a reliable and easy manner, as well as to rid them of the need to carry money around,” said Waleed Al Naser, MEPS CEO.
